Privacy — the short, honest version

What we store
- Your interview answers and the finished spec. When you complete an interview, the answers you typed and the spec we generated are saved (with the spec's serial number) so we can improve the tool and — that's the business — connect finished specs with manufacturers who can quote them. Demo/autoplay runs are never saved.
- Basic usage analytics. Anonymous events like "an interview started", which product area and interface, which site referred you, campaign tags from the link you clicked, and your country (coarse, from the network). No ad networks, no fingerprinting, no third-party trackers.
- One small browser storage entry that remembers how you first found us (the referring site / campaign tag), so we know which of our posts actually help people discover the tool. Clearing site data removes it.
What we don't do
- No selling or renting your data. Ever.
- No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking.
- No account required, no email collected unless you write to us.
- Your interview answers are never used to train AI models.
Where it lives
Everything runs on Cloudflare's infrastructure (hosting, analytics, and database). The AI interviewer processes your answers through Google's Gemini API to conduct the conversation; those exchanges are governed by Google's API terms.
Deletion & questions
Want your spec and answers deleted? Email hello@specbuildr.com — include the spec's serial number (printed in the PDF footer, like SB-SOL-20260721-8756) and it's gone. Any other question: same address.
